Vinyl siding installation and replacement
Siding is your home's first defense against wind-driven rain, and it shapes how the house looks from the street. When it's cracked, warped, loose or faded past saving, replacement protects the wall structure underneath and lifts the whole appearance of the home.
We install CertainTeed American Legend vinyl siding, available in clapboard and dutchlap profiles with a woodgrain texture. CertainTeed's PermaCOLOR system is designed for fade resistance.
What the work involves
Assessment and estimate. We look at the existing siding and the condition of the wall underneath where it's visible, talk through profile and color options, and give you a written estimate.
Removal and preparation. Old siding is removed, and the wall is checked and prepared so the new siding goes on over a sound, flat surface.
Installation. New siding is installed with the trim, corners, soffit and fascia details that keep water out and give the finished job clean lines.
Cleanup. Old material and debris are hauled away, and we walk you through the finished work.

Storm damage and insurance
Siding takes hail and wind damage the same way roofing does — hail can crack or chip panels, and wind can tear them loose. If a storm has damaged your siding, it's worth having the roof checked at the same time, since the same storm often hits both. See our storm damage roof repair page for what to look for after severe weather.
Storm-damaged siding is often part of an insurance claim. Your insurer decides what your policy covers — we don't adjust claims and we can't promise an outcome — but we can document the damage we find and provide a written estimate for the work. Our insurance and storm damage roofing page explains how the process typically works.
Repair or replace?
Isolated damage — a few cracked panels from an impact, for example — can sometimes be repaired if a reasonable color match is available. Widespread cracking, warping, fading or storm damage across multiple walls usually makes replacement the better value. We'll show you what we see and explain the tradeoffs before you decide.
Materials and warranties
We install CertainTeed products.
For low-slope roofing, we install Flintlastic SA, an SBS modified bitumen system. Its warranty terms differ from residential shingle warranties and are confirmed per project.
For siding, we install American Legend vinyl siding.
CertainTeed's American Legend vinyl siding carries a lifetime limited warranty from CertainTeed as the manufacturer. Coverage terms, exclusions and transferability are set by CertainTeed, not by us. We'll give you the specific warranty document for the siding used on your home before work starts.
10-year workmanship warranty
This covers the quality of the installation itself, separate from the manufacturer's product warranty.
We are insured.
